Given what the rest of the similar epitaphs from Lycaonia look like, I wonder if the reading of the name here is incorrect and that the man's name is not Opios Kosmos but rather than the restoration is incorrect. I would expect there to be a verb here instead. The inscription is bilingual but the Latin fragmentary and the publication in JHS reconstructs a Latin version from the Greek itself
