φθάνοντες δ’ ἀλλήλους ταῖς εἰς εὐ[ποΐας] ἐπινοίαις ναοὺς μὲν ἤγειραν εἰς ἔδαφος ἠ-ρε̣[ιμμέν]ο̣υς δειπνιστήριά τε προσεμήκυναν δειπνι-[στη]ρ̣ίοις καὶ ταμεῖα συνόδοις ἐχαρίσαντο, παρεχόμε-[νοι] μὴ μόνον θεοῖ̣ς εὐσέβειαν, ἀλλὰ καὶ τόποις κόσμον·... ἐνπ̣ρησθέντος τε τοῦ {κατὰ}κατὰ τὸ γυμν̣άσιον κύκλου̣ τ̣ὰς εἰς τὴν ἰδίαν εὐχρη- στίαν ἡτο̣ιμασμένας ἐχαρ[ίσα]το πλίνθους, τῆς κατ’ οἶ-κον ὠ̣[φε]λίας τὸν δημόσιον κόσμον προκρείνας… άκελλος ἐκ θεμελίων ὑψοῦτο πολυτελής, ἐργαστη-ρίων αὐτάρκη διαγραφόμενος καλλονήν, ἐνιδρύετο δ’ αὐ-τοῖς ἐξέδρα μέση, δυναμένη καὶ μόνη πόλεως κό-σμος εἶναι... προσεμηκύνετο δ’ αὐτοῖς καὶ βαίτηςεὔχρηστος ἀπόλαυσις χιμέριον κατάστημα νικώ- σης, ἐπεσφραγίσατο δ’ αὐτῶν τὴν πολυτέλειαν περί-στυλον μαρμαρίνοις ἐπεριδόμεν<ο>ν κείοσιν, ὧν ἡ καλ-λονὴ καὶ τὸ λεῖπον ἔ<τ>ι τῆς ἀγορᾶς κεκόσμηκε καὶ τὰμέτρια δ’ αὐτῶν εἶναι δοκοῦντα πρὸς σύνκρισιν
