Ἐκόσμει δὲ αὐτὴν πολλὴν μὲν ἐσθῆτα ἐνδύων, πολὺν δὲ περιθεὶς χρυσόν: καὶ οὐκέτι φέρων τὴν θέαν, ἡμέρας γενομένης ἐνθέμενος κλίνῃ τὴν Ἄνθειαν ῾ἡ δὲ ἔκειτο ἀναισθητοῦσἀ ἦγεν εἰς τοὺς πλησίον τῆς πόλεως τάφους: κἀνταῦθα κατέθετο ἔν τινι οἰκήματι, πολλὰ μὲν ἐπισφάξας ἱερεῖα, πολλὴν δὲ ἐσθῆτα καὶ κόσμον ἄλλον ἐπικαύσας.
